Pastoral Council Nominations - Now Open

You are invited to nominate yourself or another parishioner to serve on the parish’s Pastoral Council for a 3-year term. This year, we are looking to fill three open positions left by members from St. Michael, St. Mary of the Lake, and St. John the Baptist, who completed their terms. Please complete the nomination form by April 6th.

A nominee should be:

• An active, registered member of the parish, at least 18 years old.

• A fully initiated Catholic, who is in good standing with the Catholic Church.

• A weekly participant at Sunday Mass at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish.

• Committed to furthering the mission of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish.

• Willing to face the future with hope, and be open to and adapt to change.

• Open to sharing opinions in a group setting and consider differing viewpoints.

• Willing to serve a 3-year term on the Pastoral Council and make a genuine commitment to attend all monthly meetings.

• Able to participate in some aspects of Parish life.
  
  All nominees will be contacted by the Selection Committee to accept or refuse their nomination. Following nominations, the discernment process will involve prayerful dialogue among current council members to discern God’s call to leadership. Nominees will be asked to submit a brief biography and vision statement for the parish, which will inform the council’s prayerful reflection.
