Marian Consecration

St. Maximilian Kolbe, our parish's patron, loved the Blessed Virgin Mary. Out of his devotion to her, he consecrated himself to Mary, the Immaculate Conception; his relationship with Mary and reliance on her intercession was as a cornerstone of his life.

On December 8th, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, our parish will be consecrated to Mary. All parishioners are invited to prepare to do the same, if they would like. Preparation begins on November 5th and lasts 33 days until December 8. We are suggesting two options for materials to prepare with:

  • This past weekend, copies of Preparation for Total Consecration to the Immaculate according to St Maximilian M. Kolbe were available in all of our parish churches. Due to their popularity, we ran out before Sunday came to an end. More have been ordered and will be available as soon as they arrive. This small book will guide you through daily prayers and meditations in preparation for consecration.

  • On Hallow, pray along with Sister Miriam as she leads you through 33 Days to Morning Glory by Fr. Michael Gaitley. This daily spiritual retreat, pondering inspiring teachings from four Marian experts: St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Mother Teresa, and Pope St. John Paul II. (All Big Picture families and school families have free access to this premium content on Hallow. All other parishioners are welcome to start a free 6 month trial through our parish partnership. Learn more at www.saintmax.org/hallow.)
